IGNITER REPAIR
Normal everyday use leads to wear and tear. When you cook food the heat leads to moisture release. This leads to grease builds up around the electrodes and can interfere with the spark needed to ignite the grill. REGULATOR REPAIR
You would be surprised how often a simple regulator reset can solve the BBQ Grill issues. However, there are numerous other issues that can arise like leaks and/or Over Fill Prevention (OPD) Device issues, and these can cause heating discrepancies. Control Valve Repair
All BBQ Grills have Control Valves that regulate the full to air ratio. Control valves, if broken, should simply be replaced not repaired. COMMON BBQ GRILL REPAIR ISSUES
Just to name a couple issues. We often see bad gas and air mixture ratios. In reality, it’s a simple fix, but can be very difficult to find the adjustment screws as manufacturers have their own ways of configuring their components. The indication that your grill needs the gas to air ratio adjusted, aside from uneven heating, is the yellow flame. Your flame is supposed to be mostly blue.
Another tricky BBQ Grill Repair is related to Couplers. Sometimes its just a matter of reconnecting, but other times you will need a new Coupler. This is actually not the easiest repair job unless you are a trained professional. We can definitely have you up and running in no time.
Regulators have similar issue symptoms. If your BBQ Grill is putting out a weak yellow flame it might simply be stuck. Just turn off the grill and disconnect the gas. Then open the lid and turn the controls to high for about a minute. This will release any trapped air or built up gas pressure, and can sometimes fix the issue. Reconnect the gas and if there is still an issue, call us – you likely need a new regulator and this is a job for a pro.
